Couponing

Yes, I have jumped on the couponing wagon! YES it is saving us money!!

Since I'm still pretty new at it, I'm learning slowly but surely! I prefer to shop at Fred Meyers (hello kiddie play land!) and was SO proud of myself for finding a KILLER deal on my favorite food - quaker instant fruit & creme oatmeal!! I got a box for $0.88!! So excited about it! My goal is to be able to double the amount of groceries I get WITH OUT doubling the amount of $$ being spent!

With the new baby coming, more diapers & wipes to buy, plus the chance of needing to buy formula (even though I'm planning on breast feeding) and baby food when that time comes, on top of feeding Jacob who eats as much and sometimes more than I do ... we spend a lot of money on groceries!

We need food to survive, a basic fact of life. Why spend full price on it?? There are some KILLER deals out there on every day stuff! Take advantage of it! Julie Ann Marie

Well the double digit count down is on :) Our little girl, Julie Ann Marie will be here in approx 95 days! So excited to have a girl! I know Jacob is going to be a great big brother, not worried about that. Starting to worry about "what am I going to do with a girl?!" though! We still have no girly things at all, and I wish I could decorate a nursery but its our spare room and needs to stay that way for awhile (especially since she will be sleeping in our room for awhile!).

I just love what hormones make me do HAHA!

And of course now Jacob wants me! More later!

Baby oh Baby!

Well as most (if not all) know that we are excepting another little redhead in March...

Yes we must be nuts, 3 redheads in one family isn't enough HAHA!

Really, we are excited and find out end of Oct if it is a boy or a girl! I'm hoping for a girl so I can go all pink and girly!

Things are going good, so far no issues, definitely feeling the back/hip pain already but after the accident in '09 that was to be expected! First trimester went good, no major morning sickness, but definitely worse then with Jacob!

Jacob seems to get that there is a baby in mommy's belly - if you say "where is Jacob (or mommy's) baby he touches my belly and tries to lift my shirt up!

Jacob is himself, overally active 2yr old! Thanks to Elmo (his current favorite) he can count to 10 and knows quite a few of his letters! Potty training starts next week, he seems interested and ready so we are going to try it out!

Secrets.....

Well we are renting my parents house for them to help them out, my mom still lives here and will be moving as soon as she gets a job in Spokane.

That being said - when you have a secret that you can't share yet, and its summer time so your seeing family after family after family on both my side and my inlaws side.... secret keeping is HARD!

September we are hoping to let the secret "out" but this is getting hard!

Been awhile!

Well its been awhile since my last blog, thought I should update you all again!

Things have been good, we have finally moved from the crappy apartments into a house with a nice large yard! Thank goodness!

Jacob will be 2 on Saturday! I can't believe how old my baby is!

Jeff's birthday is the next day followed by...... Our FIRST anniversary! Excited all though this year of marriage was a lot like the year before.... guess thats what happens when you live together before you get married. At least we didn't wait 7yrs like my parents did!

Got a new puppy, he's a 6mo old Australian Shepard name Tucker, he's my dog:)

Coupons... really??

Well, I'm going to do it. I'm going to jump on the coupon bandwagon! Will it work? I couldn't tell ya, yet! I am taking a coupon class on the 29th, but I'm already clipping coupons because I want to save as much money as possible so I have more in savings for my girls weekend that will be around Sept. I will update you as I progress and let you know if it works for me!
