Since I'm still pretty new at it, I'm learning slowly but surely! I prefer to shop at Fred Meyers (hello kiddie play land!) and was SO proud of myself for finding a KILLER deal on my favorite food - quaker instant fruit & creme oatmeal!! I got a box for $0.88!! So excited about it! My goal is to be able to double the amount of groceries I get WITH OUT doubling the amount of $$ being spent!
With the new baby coming, more diapers & wipes to buy, plus the chance of needing to buy formula (even though I'm planning on breast feeding) and baby food when that time comes, on top of feeding Jacob who eats as much and sometimes more than I do ... we spend a lot of money on groceries!
We need food to survive, a basic fact of life. Why spend full price on it?? There are some KILLER deals out there on every day stuff! Take advantage of it! I'm following a new series and here are the current links to it - its all about couponing in the northwest! This is SO helpful and PERFECT for getting started!
